Hibiscus Tea
2oz. of Roselle Hibiscus Flowers per 1/2 gallon of water, OR for a single cup use 1TBSP of flowers per cup
Boil the whole half gallon of water on the stove, pour in the Hibiscus Flowers, low simmer for 10 minutes, turn off heat, let steep another 20 minutes. Strain and refrigerate. Drink One to two cups per day. Honey is a nice sweetener to add, and helps with the tartness of the tea.
For a single cup of tea - you can use a tea strainer inside your choice cup, as long as it is large enough to allow the flowers to expand. Boil water. Pour over the flowers. Let steep 7 minutes. Enjoy!
